I would be interested, but there's the problem of my rating. Sounds like fun, though. :(

I have some interest, but I suspect I don't really have the time. I'd be up for a tournament with sufficiently long deadlines (3/1/1 or longer) and only 1-2 games going on at once. But I realize that those deadlines tend not to be most people's preference and that this might not allow for enough games within a year for a proper tournament. I suppose I'm throwing out my preferences in case I'm wrong on those points.

Thanks for organizing this! I am definitely interested, but cannot make a firm commitment, as I've got some real life things to work out though. As our beginning date gets closer, I will give you a firm yes or no. Thanks again, fantastic idea!

I'd like to play but have decided that 2-1-1 is as fast as I can do. I don't mind slower turns but can't commit to faster ones.

Thank you to all on comments on game lengths and the pro's and cons' of anonymity for these games.

Rick.leeds is going to post an official tournament thread with the outlined rules. I'm hoping that these will reflect a balance of opinions on how this tournament can be run, for sure it will not suit everyone's desires/requests - but I am hopeful that it will be a good middle ground to keep the majority on board.

i'm getting a little bit excited :-)
