Why don't we create extra accounts and play with those as well? I am sure it would make craw happy

Craw would not be amused.

This tournament is full anyway, and not only that, it looks like I'll be bumping down the couple of players from player to reserve, who were willing to do so.

Sorry for the delay.
It's not my main excuse, but one of the 27 confirmed players (and the only one to not answer the 11 questions) has not answered me on whether or not they will answer those questions.
Mostly though, I haven't had a chance to analyze the votes, though I have placed them on a spreadsheet.
I'm sure I'll have a big update on the tournament sometime in the next 3 days.
Thank you.

One important query which isn't answred in your opening post sinnybee.

I played in the Chaos tournament many moons ago (which involved five games each, so was more liable to drop-outs, but even so....) It will be extremely surprising if nobody drops out part-way through a game or after round one. You'll put in a reserve at that point - but how will that affect the scoring for the tournament? It won't be fair if a reserve picks up a very good position and wins in round one; and in Chaos I think there were only two of the original seven who finished the game. It became farcical.

I don't imagine it will be that bad here - but you know what surrenders are like around here!

Having never played in a tourney before, take this with much salt, but I think because we're all premium members it's less likely we'll have as many drop outs?

Don't you believe it! Less yes; none, amongst 20+ of us, almost certainly (the tournament's going on for a lengthy time, and maybe people will be relatively reluctant to dropout mid-game; but players' R/L circumstances change and somebody will surely feel they can't play the next game in the series.)

I referred previously to the Chaos tournament. Chaos, so again, all premium. Massive drop-outs.

If he's still not answered the questions sinnybee he's not likely to make a reliable player in the tournament is he?

The current tournament delay is completely my fault. I have a lot of personal issues I'm trying to sort out right now.
Nothing has changed though, in that I'm still hoping to organize this anyday now. I certainly haven't forgotten about this.
We're still at 27/25 confirmed to play as far as I know, and I haven't even gotten around to telling the 2 willing to be reserves that they currently are set as such...well I guess I'm doing it now, haha--mat.gopack & emrak are currently set as reserves.
Sign-ups are still open for reserves, if anyone new is interested in signing up.
