1430

3-nation game set in the 15th century on a map of Western Europe. Devised by Andrew G Schwarz. GM: Pedros

1430

Postby Pedros » 06 Oct 2011, 16:46

Is this a gunboat game and nobody's telling me? A sequence of failed orders, whether due to poor communications or downright betrayal - though only one seems to have been critical. England takes the early lead, and France is still suffering. Burgundy makes progress, but his troops are going to be split.

There is one retreat (Burgundy from Dijon), but it can't affect the SC count so I'm posting the builds due at the same time. Builds will be due 24 hours after the retreat is posted (when Palin posts here if that's how he chooses to do it), but they can be submitted earlier to move the game along.

Retreat is due by 1530 BST (1030 EDT) on Friday 7 October.

Retreat Luxembourg, please...

On an unrelated note, why couldn't Dijon support to Dauphine? They clearly border each other...
Sooner or later the man who wears two faces forgets which one is real... and thus a stabbing occurs!

I think it's a typo, it can't support because support was cut in the attack.
Best to get me at night (8pm to 12pm EDT)

No. It's a subtle rule which isn't often needed, but is crucial:-

2000 rules p 9 wrote:A dislodged unit ... has no effect on the province that dislodged it
(ie it can't support there)

Retreat map follows shorty.
