Ugh. Okay. So we can do an artificial deadline and a dogpile to deal with the voting shenanigans, if we care that much.

That seems like a lot of work to deal with just one vote changing thing...I mean I'll do it if people insist but I think it's fine

I'm going to be as full force as I can be!

I think Timon should absolutely not reveal. That would be very dumb. But other than Simon, I'm okay with any other reveals (though not everyone- obviously, then Timon would be revealed).

But I think we'll get some information from at least the dog/fish side of things with reveals.

I'm Baxter.

If we can we should take that into account with voting totals, since Morgan won't be able to vote me (though I hope they won't feel the need to!).

There's never a lot to work with D1, materially, but let's give it our best shot. For the pets!

I think anyone except Savannah revealing is probably not good but do what you will

Hey all! Excited to get into mafia on this forum and meet some new faces. :D

First thoughts:

I understand that UFO said game balance was not as important to him as flavor, but (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't believe he said roles were distributed randomly. I doubt he gave scum roles that screw the town over from the start, and so the pessimism here feels unearned. Yes, this game isn't so serious, but it's easy for a scum to come in and say "I'm not going to take this game seriously". If the best thing to catch a scum on is disingenuous scum hunting, the job is that much harder when we must determine if a player is unable to genuinely scum hunt, or just disinterested. And if the game's unbalanced, then bring it on! We'll look so much cooler when we win.

I agree with the dog pile strategy - partially for the pun of it all - but only if we have enough people who will be online at the deadline. I believe I will be.

I don't see why the town needs to know anyone's powers, especially if we're dog piling votes after an artificial deadline. Mafia are the ones who want to narrow down the field through reveals.

Aeschines - why the role reveal so soon? And why exactly should dogs/fish reveal? Was the reveal simply for the shock value of it all?

Hey UFO, did you randomly assign roles or are roles tied to alignment?
