Keir, I'm kind of struggling to understand your 180 on me here--is it solely because I didn't react to RS' reveal the way you think I should have?* or is it more POE (you buy RS' reveal, Kim is tonally town, therefore it's down to me/Telleo/Joe, although I'm not certain I understand why you flipped your position on me/Joe other than Joe being here today and me not)?



*I would argue that without the knowledge of RS being removed from play tomorrow if his VC is met, it was entirely reasonable to see an essentially last minute 3p claim as quite possibly being a scum low risk high reward play. I see where you're coming from on that, but I don't think it's nearly as indicative either way--as scum, I'm probably agreeing with it and letting it pass, because either Joe is town and I don't care, or Joe is scum and I want credit for helping kill him. But that's easier for me to know how I'd play it than you.

It's not Joe being here, it's how he reacted to RS's reveal vs. how you reacted to RS's reveal. But, it's not enough for me to toss my reads from the rest of the game.

Right, but...I mean, you were sort of waffling even before that, weren't you? So it kinda sorta seems like maybe you were breadcrumbing up to it...and even if you weren't, then I'm still curious why the backtracking?

And yeah...I'm gonna argue against that pretty hard tomorrow, assuming that JOE is scum, because I really do not see my reaction as being an inherently scummy one. I mean, I sorta kinda get what you're saying and where you're coming from...and I do have the benefit of knowing i'm town when weighing whether it's a scummy response or not...but yeah, I tend to think that it makes more sense for a real 3p to claim earlier in the day, and for scum to fake claim later in the day as a "break glass in case of emergency" type of thing. And more broadly, I don't think that claims should just be taken at face value immediately all the time. Anyways, that's a discussion for tomorrow, because I don't have time to have it now.

Unless it's in her meta that she likes to lurk as scum...but, I mean, this is roughly what I recall her activity level being as town when I've played with her, so...yeah. And I'm generally reluctant to read much into activity level anyways. Judge people for what they do when they're here, not how often they're here.

Yeah, Telleo's always got a weird schedule and is never around at exactly the right time. When I say "it sucks," I really just mean it sucks. If she's town, her vote doesn't take into account probs the most important thing that happened today. There's potential there for scumJoe to win the day and the game purely with his own vote and two zombie votes: UDC's actual zombie vote, and Telleo's functionally zombie vote. If she's scum, she's not accountable for being on there at all in a way that has plenty of deniability.
