This game will include some number of returning characters from previous installments (Ladies Night 1, Ladies Night 2, and Ladies Night 3), as well as the possibility of new characters that haven't appeared in any of the previous games. Returning characters may or may not have different alignments and/or abilities.

To be clear if your name is Brittany Amazing otherwise known as half-naked girl - I am referring to "Brittany Amazing" not the nickname (unless the nickname is all you have in your role PM)

I will at a later time (if it is necessary) explain why I use Q2a & Q2b based on the answer to Q1.

There may also be other iterations of this later, but for now I want everyone on record at game start.

And I want how long someone takes to go on record...to be on record.

I had a nice post typed out which got lost.

1. Asu, ok I was not aware of that. Are there 9 good characters or 7 good characters and 2 evil characters in the show? A full name reveal is a bad idea due to the ever present danger that name and role are linked. I don't particularly want to give our full roles out to the Mafia.
2. That was a plan from TWC from a game with a similar sort of setup to this one here. I thought it was worth re-hashing it, potentially, for this game. I have no flavour knowledge so it may well not be applicable to this particular scenario but I thought it was worth considering and may well lead to initial discussions if nothing else which can then segue into more productive discussions in the future.
3. Welcome nanook and JoeHoya! I hope you enjoy your first experience playing Mafia and I hope you stay here long enough to play more games in the future. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'm sure someone will be willing to help you. Do either of you have experience playing Mafia before? On the forums or in a face-to-face scenario?

Did you consider that our names may be tied to our roles even if our names are alignment neutral? Do you think that this is a valid issue with a full name reveal today?

On a more serious note, telleo has been in enough games here that I'd presume that she gave scum decent enough fakeclaims to make it difficult to solve the game by flavor. That or there's a janitor (in which maybe flavor is a good idea), but janitor is relatively unusual in mafia games (though I played in a GOT flavored game on MS where scum got a janitor and proceeded to use him to shoot the outed IC, get watched, and we won before LYLO despite a shitty vig).

One way or another, it's pretty likely that the game was designed to discourage massclaim in one way or another, so I'd vote no to mass claim, mass flavor claim or anything similar, barring a particularly good reason to go that route.
