unfortunetely, my palermans no longer wish to deal with your traitorous people. They are now threatening the Papal states if they do not attack Naples. Should the papal states not attack naples somewhere, Palermo will invade the purple nation.

In the timeframe of the game though, Naples and Sicily would both be under Spanish rule, not Norman. Regardless, the actual populace of Sicily was never largely Norman, only the ruling classes would have been during their rule.

Well I hope it doesn't have any impact on how the game will play out cause that would be unfair.

I'm going to be out of town starting tomorrow morning (probably before the map update) with no internet. I will have a sub, but I'm hoping to limit his role to main-site only. So, any phase where I don't have orders can go, but IF I need to submit orders I'd like a pause until next Friday night...sorry, but Idaho calls.

Just trying to get some taters in before school.

Speaking of school, Mal, when will you get inundated with work?

So...not soon. Unfortunately, that means we still need to work out the terms of a pause!

Greetings! Malevolence requested someone take over GMing this game for him, and I've stepped in. I've gotten the current map from him, and I'll be PMing everyone to let folks know about the change, and work out when the next deadline should be - and make sure that everyone is still here!

thanks again to Rughat for taking over.

hopefully ill be able to check in on the progress every once and a while- good luck everyone.

Oh Rughat- one last thing- The unofficial state of Palermo is the GM's troops- they took away all that neutral stuff from naples when he attacked them.

just thought id share that with you :)

(didnt think id forget about them did you diplomat?)
