There is a tickbox that says something like "log me on every visit". Have you tried ticking it?

@MisterPlant - iPad - that's a techie thing, right? I just updated from my Commodore 128 (JK - I have a laptop that is newish).

Thanks, but that online live thing was too intense. It nearly gave me a heart attack. I hate fighting technology. I just start screaming at the damn thing. Online, I think I'll just dance more slowly from now on ;). Glad I tried it in a pickup, nonranked game.

I mean F2F 15 minutes turns I love, I get eye contact, voice, body language, so many cues nonverbal I can use. It's more like poker that way. Certainly another way F2F and online differ. I also don't hesitate to stab F2F. It's more visceral for me. Very in your face, and satisfying in its own way.

Thanks for the thread. An important topic for sure. Overall, I've been very satisfied with PDO.

The order entry system on Backstabbr is unparalleled - the combination of point-and-click with keyboard shortcuts for move/support/convoy means that with a keyboard any order, no matter how complicated, can be entered in literally half a second. Once you've decided what you want to do, you can enter 10 units' orders in 5 seconds total.

In other ways, PlayDip is the best interface.

@ Strategus - yes, I certainly have.

I am only able to access the forum when logging back into the site after logging off. This issue only relates to the forum, not to the game playing section. There I can stay logged in for hours without any issues.

It is almost as if the forum still thinks I have a different password.

Raise it as a query with the moderators. Hopefully they can sort you out. I use a separate tab on my phone/ipad, and that works fine, but even if I change on the same tab I don't have to log out/in.

Do you use the same tab in the browser? And the tabs on the main Playdip page, to switch from games to forum?

Also, you might have to change your password in the forum as well as the main site, as they are separate systems.

I have a (very) vague recollection of this happening to me. Try changing password on both systems?
