German flag

Hi,

can anyone advise why the German flag looks like it is blue, white and red in this game?

I can understand that for a game starting in 1901, it would not be black, red and gold, but a quick look at Wiki suggests that the flag at the time would have been black, white and red, rather than blue, white and red.

Or is that just my screen not showing the colour properly? Or me going colour-blind?

It's black, white and red. The old German flag (to 1918). Current one is black, gold and red irl.

Point of Trivia: the Red, Yellow, Black colors of the Weimar (and Federal Republic) flag matches the three colors on the eagle of Charlemagne, whose empire controlled both present-day France and present-day Germany. (His capital was Aachen.)

The Black/White/Red scheme is supposed to represent the union of Germany, particularly the Prussian and Bavarian colors at the time.
