Yep, but sadly I lost all my old map-work from the voting thread, so I had to start over from scratch, and I didn't get much positive input for a "PlayDip front page ready" version of the map, so my work on it sort of stalled out.

You should team up with NoPunIn10Did--I think I heard him talk about doing something on Colonial after Hundred?

Yeah, I got several PM's from NoPunIn10Did. His advanced knowledge about HTML programing & talk of "vectors" and such was quite intimidating for my humble self. It was the other reason I stopped thinking about recreating my lost Colonial map. He sounded a LOT better qualified.

I own no fewer than THREE Diplomacy sets.

1961 Games Research
1985 Avalon Hill (came with the Gamer's Guide, the one with the blue cover)
1999 Hasbro/AH

Used to own the Avalon Hill "Deluxe" Diplomacy (1992) but, stupidly, I sold it. :(

I also own Richard Sharp's "The Game of Diplomacy" in hardcover.

I have one which is marked '1 of 500'. Got it in some sort of estate sale on ebay. It set me back a pretty penny! The board looks a little funny too.

Just kidding! No way I am forking over USD 5,234.00 for a Dip game, even if it was Calhamer's personal copy and the first Dip game ever manufactured. The better half would have killed me!

I am told by someone who says they do know who won the auction that the person who has the game wants to remain anonymous.
