What we will be looking for is people to come and try out as many moves and things as you can, finding out things like unit placements being in the wrong place, moves that should work not working, etc.. It wont be Gunboat, but not so you can negotiate but rather so players can discuss getting supported moves done and things.
Once the Beta looks OK, we will release the game for normal usage. Again, what we have done previously is only allow unranked games for a couple of weeks, but given WitA needs 10 players it might be better to allow ranked games and if there is trouble we can always unrank them.
My guess is this means we will have WitA live for general usage within a month.
So, if anyone wants to volunteer to help us check it out, now's the time to sign up

I think when we release the game for general use, it is going to be great! Nopun has done a stunning job on the map and it seems so different to play across the Americas. I might even be tempted to play myself (as long as I am allowed to zap the orders database to make sure I win)
ADMIN EDIT: You can learn more about War in the Americas on the thread where it was originally proposed for site inclusion.
