War in the Americas 2: Now full

Postby Pedros » 05 May 2011, 06:20

I'm recruiting for a new game of War in the Americas. It won't start much before the end of May and will be 72-24-24. It will be played on the original map from the Variant Bank (http://www.variantbank.org/results/rule ... ericas.htm) rather than the modifications used in game 1 here.

Post here if you're interested; I'll check with everybody when I'm getting ready to start. Looks like being a high-quality game!

It looks as though you need 10 players and you have 9? So if you need someone to make up the numbers I'm game.

10 players needed is right mr bump. At present I have 9 interested players (10 with you) rather than signed up ones - I'll start a sign-up thread shortly now that I know the answer. I want some assurance about reliability of players - nothing too rigorous, but the last game was excellent apart from one country whose NMRs and eventual surrender skewed the whole outcome. It happens, but I can at least try to minimise the risk! I'll start the sifting process once I start sign-ups.

So far as timing is concerned - in about 9 days' time I move to living on a narrowboat on the English canals for six months. Internet should be OK, but I want to be sure before I get a new game going, so not for 2-3 weeks minimum.
