Playing multiple countries - messaging?

Postby Stormborn92 » 10 Apr 2017, 04:17

Hey all,

Three of us are playing a game together. Two have been assigned two countries and one has been assigned three countries. We would like to message each other anonymously, as we're keeping our countries a secret, but can't figure out how to switch between the countries to send messages.

Anyone have a fix? Cheers!

Sorry, you can't do that. The shorthanded variant (which is what you are playing) assigns the countries on a set basis, so there would be no point in anonymity anyway. So for example in the 3-player game one player is always E/G/A, one is always I/R and one is always F/T. This does not change. Therefore there would be no point in messaging from individual countries because if E sends you a message, you know it is from E/G/A.

If you want to have secret countries and be able to send messages from one or the other then that is only possible in Versailles. In Versailles you have a major country but also a secret minor country which can send messages separately to other players. This allows all sorts of cunning plans 8-)
