It should be fairly obvious that we can't let a player change countries! Other countries may have communicated info and plans to him as one country that they would not have shared with the other...

In addition, it would also be unfair to simply allow the dying country to go NMR - that would be a huge advantage for the neighbors of the dying country, who could just scoop up the available centers with barely a fight.

We really need Nigeria to bravely fight on from every jungle outpost and every fishing village... my two cents

I agree with this in normal circumstances. except, no matter what Nigeria does, Algeria will wipe it out in 1-2 years. I've calculated every possible move. As for knowing others plans, I really haven't communicated much with ANYONE in Italy's theatre enough to know their over arching theme. This was just my suggestion to not need to find a replacement player. I am reliable and want to play.
