Fall 3007

A big turn indeed; some very big changes. But the end of Austria isn't one of them, thanks to support from France. But France and Germany at last turn their attention towards Russia, to possibly devastating effect (Spekulatius - you need to remember that every turn you can issue one order for each SC you possess to stabilise a territory or boundary against Geo attack.)

And Italy is the big sufferer this time. He has the one retreat - from Piedmont (incidentally the geo bounce in Venice doesn't mean he can't retreat there.) Although Germany geo-destroyed his own Denmark fleet!

Italy's retreat asap please, and Builds/Destroys by 1800 BST (1300 EDT) on Thursday 5 May

Current SC total 33, target 17

PM from Germany:-

Okay, so the order were

Russia

F Baltic Sea MOVE Denmark : Order now invalid
A Skaggerack SUPPORT Baltic Sea to Denmark : Move failed
A Sweden SUPPORT Baltic Sea to Denmark : Move failed

Germany

A Kiel - Den : Bounced

Now, I issued that order with the idea that the Geo moves happened before the actual moves so in this way, F Den gets destroyed and F BAL's move is rendered invalid before all other moves are resolved.

I probably just misunderstood/didn't read the rule but I thought "A Kiel - Den" would resolve successfully if no valid move were made on the part of another player and since my own unit had been destroyed and thus removed before hand.

This isn't a particularly big deal, just trying to clear this up before I make a similar mistake if it is in fact a mistake.

He's right of course, the other German moves succeed! Sorry about that. I've corrected it on the retreats map
