Spring 3005, and an important announcement!

Postby Pedros » 25 Mar 2011, 12:33

Two more NMRs. Turkey's is understandable but another one from Germany. I'm going to be tough on NMRs from now on (it's teaching you all bad habits!!) See next announcement.

Some stirrings in the east, but again most of the action is in the west, and Germany's absence exposes him to some serious attention from France!

Two retreats - Germany from Belgium and Austria from Trieste. Retreats are due by 1030 GMT (0530 EST) on Saturday 26 March.

Total SCs: 35; target: 19

GM announcement: NMRs

Postby Pedros » 25 Mar 2011, 12:38

This game has been plagued by NMRs, which are the ruin of any Diplomacy game. I said at the start that I would be lenient because several players were new to Forum Games. The result seems to have been encouraging bad habits, so I'm afraid it stops here.

I will now begin to implement the "3 NMRs (or 2 successive) on movement phases and you're out". And I'll be counting back to the beginning. Nobody will be ejected simply for past mistakes, but if you've had two or more you'll be on a final warning. That means thapauly, laserr and chrisman39

vaderi (F) 1
thapauly (G): 2
GhostEcho (I): 0
laserr (R) 2

Retreat to Serbia, please.
Sooner or later the man who wears two faces forgets which one is real... and thus a stabbing occurs!

nope I fiugred you'd either not bother since the retreats were publicly declared or you'd do it in your own time ;)
