It's been far too long and I need to get my Dip fix back. I figure I'll ease back in the same way I started out as a GM. With a good ole fashioned game of Imperium.

The Roman Empire has fallen and it has left its wealth completely unguarded. Perfect for you to swoop in and take it. Unfortunately 5 other people have the same idea and they might not want to share. Valhalla knows that you don't. Furthermore there is an added problem. You don't have any supply centers. You have three armies roving around, which if not paid by the end of the first year, they will reject your leadership and disband. As a bonus however, since you are a nomadic roving tribe of barbarians, you can build anywhere.

Victory is based on 50%+1 and for this game that means 15 SCs for the win.
I will try to keep this game at a 3/2/2 schedule, with an effort at speed deadlines.
An NMR during bids or Spring 401 will be grounds for automatic replacement.
2 Consecutive or 3 Cumulative NMRs will be grounds for replacement.

Byzantium acts in a similar manner to Constantinople in Standard Diplomacy

River Rules will be played. Basically any army crossing the river (or the two fords) moves with a strength of 0 (the river is the big blue line, the fords connect Bae-Mau, Thr-Gal).
-So If army A (strength of 1) on the far side of the river moves into the same territory as army B (0) crossing the river, not only does army B bounce back, but army A proceeds to capture the territory.
-You cannot support an army on the opposite side of the river (unless crossing to the near), or to the other side of the river.
-You cannot cut a support from an army by attacking it across the river.
-You cannot retreat across the river.
-Fleets treat the river as an ordinary border.
-All of the above rules also apply to the fords (Thrace-Galatia & Baetica-Mauretania).

Tribes will be decided by blind auction, so don't discuss preferences. The tribes are Alamanni, Franci, Gothi, Hunni, Saxones, and the Vandali.
