I'll be random. There are a lot of interesting countries, and it all looks fair. (at first glance)

I want to make sure of the roster at this point. Once we have the roster, I'll hand out country assignments, publish house rules, etc.

Someone remarked that this will take six months. I would estimate a full year would be a more reasonable time frame, since I do tend to grant reasonable delay requests if people ask in advance, and I run a fairly leisurely pace (approximately one game year every two weeks). Plus, this is a big variant, and you are playing against some pretty good competition. Don't expect a walkover.

Note that I run games primarily via email (though I will of course be publishing adjudications here on the forum as well as emailing them out to you individually), so I will need an email address from each of you. Send a confirmation of interest, along with a preference list (or a statement that you have no preference) to me at zendip18AToptonlineDOTnet. Here is the roster at present (and I did this strictly on a first come, first served basis--no favoritism):

1. Jorge Saralegui
2. Deanchuk
3. AardvarkArmy
4. Nick Higgins
5. vaderi
6. Ian Moes
7. Suzanne Castagne
8. lequinian
9. his_flyness
10. PiT (The Physicist)
11. Darren Sharma
12. Nigel Phillips
13. Mikael Johansson
14. Mike Morris
15. DOI

Wait list:

1. Pokerface
2. Waterice Man

Note to DOI and Pokerface on the wait list. I expect at least one more person to come off the roster (one has come off already). So you may both get in.

I really do run my games via email. It is much easier when I don't have to work in multiple programs, and since I publish via email, it is efficient to receive orders in that program. If you don't want to give out a usual email address, you could set up a "throwaway" email with yahoo, gmail, hotmail or something similar. Please let me know if you are willing to do this, so I can either count you in, or get someone from the waiting list.
