Classicists,

1900.
An attempt apparently to correct the historical wrongs inherent to Diplomacy.

Why are France and England squabbling over the grubby waters of The Channel/ La Manche, when they should be striving to extend their Global Empires with more colonial possessions?
Why is Germany, in the hands of the wrong Diplomat (*cough*) repeatedly crushed, when it’s industrialisation means it should have the means to conscript men and manufacture materiel to wage war on two (if not three or, preferably, four or five) fronts?
Why is Italy stuck in the Med as opposed to its more natural Northern leanings?
Why does the Sick Man of Europe continuously sweep all before it, when you know it would be only good luck if Turkey saw off the first Bulgar boy scout unit it encountered?

And as for Austria (*shudder*)? Well, the 1900 revisionist Diplomacy historians obviously didn't see any need to change the status quo there, so expect the usual hammering from all sides...

For those interested, the game is 103404. Exposition Universelle, two days for orders, one for retreat and build, and none of yer anonymous nonsense.
Open to Classicists of all rank or aspiring, please pm for password.
