Hey folks,

I've got some friends who like to play. Each time we do some random player drops out. This led me here (thankfully) as I just completed a draw with JonS and in the process joined up. We still want to play a straight game with no NMRs and no Surrenders. My friends are dedicated players and are also aspiring members. We have 5 members in this game and are looking for two classicists members to join.

We uphold the rules of no meta gaming and in the spirit of that I'd like to introduce these guys so transparency is clear from jump street. And just in case you are wondering, because we've played with each other means that we are actually more likely to stab each other than less likely ;) Each are regular communicators and have strengths in both tactics and in building alliances.

Like I said, two spots are left and it is a first come, first serve draw - so I can't offer you Russia or Turkey :)

Can't wait to play with more dedicated members! I'll PM you the password after checking your status per the regs.

Re: Casual Classicists Game (5/7)

Hi all-

I can vouch for this being a good group, and for Hogan's willingness to work with a stranger (yours truly) to ruthlessly annihilate his friends.

One important point though - and I absolutely understand the confusion. But "Aspiring Classicist" is actually a category of membership, intended for players that don't qualify for full membership but admire the principles of the club. It isn't, as I think it's being used here, simple people who aspire to some day be classicists....

As such - Col. Hogan you are a member, but your esteemed friends are not. If they would like to join - great! - would love to have them. But we need them to apply.

Until they are themselves members of the club (at aspiring level or with full membership) I'm afraid this isn't REALLY a classicist game - casual or otherwise.

As such, I've changed the title of your post to make it clear that classicists are welcome, but it's not a club game.

Would love to have the whole gang! But unless all players have applied and have been vetted it's not technically a club game...

Sorry for the bureaucracy. And as I said - this is a good group with whom I enjoyed a wonderful game.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure they will all join at some point. Come on folks! :)

I think I can refer to my signature as the excuse for the mistake.
