Will there be another round of this someday? My BF and I have been drooling over this board but discovered the thread only after the game had started.

I hope so. I've already gone over the board with a fine tooth comb and made several key changes to balance it out. :)

Only if we're eager to know about the changes.

I was going to wait for the current game to finish so we could all discuss them and such. I get the feeling not everyone is going to like what I did to their country... ;)

Actually, I didn't really change too much. The only MAJOR change was to the Asia region, to turn China from the weakest country on the board into a moderately strong one, and to bring India and PR closer together so fighting each other IS an option at the beginning of the game (and later.)

Other than that, just a couple different starting units, one (maybe two) home SC changes, a couple extra sea zones shoved in (without disrupting the current set up)...oh, and completely optional, the addition of another country, in the South America/Central America region. (As said, optional - it's fairly balanced without, but I just wanted to see if I could shove one more in without unbalancing the board, and I think I did.)

I was just having fun playing around with the map, basically. :)

I'm not sure how much longer this one is going to drag on, plus AAR's, plus discussing changes to the game, but I'm guessing round two would have to wait until after the holidays. Hectic. Hectic. Hectic. Thoughts?

Regardless of WHEN it occurs, I want in on the next go round.
