There will be, there are already people wanting to start it, but I won't be in that one. The last 5-6 weeks of the game were just not what I had experienced in the first part of the game. Once the game got down to 4 players the diplomacy stagnated.

Just another reason why it might not be a good idea to never make never ending alliances. Stabs are the spice of Diplomacy. Painful, brutal , unpredictable spices, but they keep things going. They allow diplomacy and word smithing to work. Otherwise, it's all contract based and boring really. =^/

On the bright side though, you and I showed the world (and more importantly, ourselves) that you and I actually CAN be allied and CAN make it work!

Would World dip be more fun if it were played on two maps? According to my idea, the game would start off on the current map, but when there are 7 players left, a smaller map would be taken into use. On the smaller map there would be only those land territories which are SC on the larger map (plus central Asia) and not only some of them would be SCs.

World Dip is tons of fun as it is. Just, like any game, the diplomacy often stagnates in the end game unless there's a stab. Interesting idea, though.

Personally, I think it should have ended long ago, when everyone teamed up on Dip and ifni for betraying their faithful, game-long ally... :(

Is this going to be the EOG report thread, then?
