That dashed line that runs through Cai is a canal (Suez) between RED and EME that you can use to move directly between the 2 spaces, therefore, a support order should be valid as well. It doesn't change anything this season, but it may at some point, so I thought I'd point it out now.

Hi Disposable:

My understanding of the canal is that Cairo is a province in which fleets can enter from either RED or EME, and they can also leave to either sea. Thus it is like a province on 2 seas, but which doesn't have to have 2 separate coasts (so fleets can get from one sea to the other).

I don't think the canal to meant to indicate that RED and EME are adjacent because of it, however. I think they are both just adjacent to Cai. If my understanding is wrong, I'd be glad to find out now, so it is cleared up.

Waterice is correct. The two territories are not directly connected, as the East Black Sea is not directly connected to the Caspian, but you can move Rostov to Volga.

That's not how it was explained to me by LotR, but I did subsequently google for the established rules and you are correct. Apologies.
