Guys, I've had some serious real life things come up lately, and so have been offline for a while. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I think I'm gonna have to leave the site for a bit, and so you might have to find a new GM. I just can't spare the time to be online right now. I've had a death in the family, and my dad lost his job, so I'm working full-time myself and spending a lot of time with my family right now. Again, really sorry everyone.

If absolutely necessary, Britain could be taken over by my friend retard.in.denial for me to take over GMing. This is a last-case option, though

Sorry for the tough situation. You've been a great GM for Modern - we'll miss you. Take care of your business and come back soon.

Sorry to hear that, lotr. I hope you are able to get things sorted out as well as possible and are able to come back.

I am also willing to give up my country and GM if necessary.

I could just give up totally with Spain, as I only have one center left.

I would vote that of the 3 GM volunteers, Spain makes the most sense to give up and take over. If it were Turkey, it wouldn't be fair to Russia, while if it were England, it wouldn't be fair the the rest :) If you don't mind Doc, I'm behind you on this one :)

Okay, here's the map I'll be using. All the territory abbreviations from either my map or lotr's version will be acceptable when submitting orders. Sadly, in re-creating the rest of the game, I picked up a pair of mistakes, one of which would have helped me survive longer. That's what I get for not paying attention. :( Given that we haven't been moving in a while, I'd like WINTER 2000 BUILDS BY 10PM EDT on WEDNESDAY JUNE 3rd.
