Game 146775

In the order history, the last map shows English centres in Austria’s colour.
Units and everything else is as normal.
Common occurrence? At least I haven’t seen that before.

Ah, neat. When I clicked on the image it reverted to it's natural colors though, for me.

It can often be very difficult to distinguish between Austria and England when they’re close to each other on the board.

I looked at it, and England’s color is definitely different. When you click on the image, it becomes noticeably more orange. It’s only for Fall 08, though. The other pictures are fine.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw duckling's post yesterday. But then I looked at the game, and he was right. Territories controlled by England were the exact same color as those controlled by Austria. The Austrian units matched the territory they were sitting on (red on red), while the English units clashed (orange on red).

I looked at a few maps from prior seasons, which were correct.

Ah.. yeah, didn’t try clicking on the large image.
It is exactly as expected, while the small one is def. with Austria’s colour still.

Glad others are seeing it, too.
I didn’t have nearly enough to drink yesterday to hallucinate like that :)

It is a rendering issue when the maps are built. For some reason, sometimes the England and Austrian colours (which are quite close anyway) end up looking very similar. The reason the problem goes away when you click the big map is that that brings up a different image. It can look really odd sometimes, because sometimes the colour in a single territory can bleed into looking like the other, across the territory. Sorry if it caused any confusion.
