If you find a fleet/army icon not in the right place....

With the new icons now introduced, because some are different shapes and/or have more detail the sizes have changed. This MAY cause some icons to look like they are not in the right province.

If you see any that you think are far enough out to be confusing then please post here and I will correct as we go.

If you are in any doubt, I strongly recommend the 'show details on hover' option that can be found in the My Account page (top right hand corner next to log in/out). This will ALWAYS tell you who is in which province (except for fog games )

Ah - it all becomes clear. Stupid code is v eccentric. The problem is particularly visible with Ancient Med, but also with other maps.

I am fixing now. In testing I tried the classic map with all icons and it was OK, but the Ancient Med map shows up the problem clearly and has helped me find the 'eccentric' design.

Constantinople - Fleet has to retreat, is completely covered by the army of Austria.
Aegean Sea may be a little out of place too - Again Turkey is the one retreating.

Fleet South Coast of SPain - looks more in the Western Med than in Spain... again this is in a retreat situation.

The Versailles map is new to me, and I'm not entirely au-fait with it yet. There are a few unit placements that I'm struggling with:

There's lots of room in Finland to move units up, allowing the star and province name to be visible.

There's lots of room in Croatia to move units north-west a bit to put them more firmly into Croatia.

This one's a bit tough. Units in London tend to obscure the star, so it can be difficult to know if London is an SC.

In Berlin, units tend to obscure the star so that, again, it can be difficult to know if Berlin is an SC or not.

Another example for Berlin.

There's lots of room in Cairo to move units down and right, allowing the star and province name to be visible.

There's lots of room in Constantinople to move the units down and right, allowing the star to be visible.

The British army retreating seems to be retreating from Switzerland, but in fact needs to retreat from Alsace.
