oh, I wish Ray was correct -- now he's swung from undercounting to overcounting (Turkey didn't even come close to gaining 4 -- I think a net of 1 or 2)

-- I stand corrected: Ray's count and my initial estimate both wrong --

Will post my alternate counts later this morning....

These are the new figures for influence. Brazil's number may change with the retreat, but it won't affect the position

Turkey: 4.75
France: 4.18
USA: 3.31 (rise of 2 places)
Brazil: 3.27 (fall of 1 place)
Mexico: 3.17 (rise of 1 place)
China: 3.08 (fall of 2 places)
Japan: 2.30
Russia: 1.88
Prussia: 0.99
Britain: 0.87
Holland: 0.46

I find the values for the following:
-No. of SCs
-Units at the border
-Continents covered
-Countries bordered
-Free Home SCs before builds
and divide each number by the highest acheived by every country, then add the figures up, leaving a maximum of five

i feel like china should be higher..

Aardvark, you've got about 35 now. Its hard to keep count after 20 especially if youre doing a rough census. Besides, it would help if I knew how to count beyond 27....

Just curious:

Why was Goodhope RETREAT DESTROY ?

either BOT (army) or GOODHOPE (fleet) can retreat to CTN...

Wouldn't Retsam/Brazil get to chose which to retreat and which to destroy?
