You know, the like of which I always try to form when I'm in a game with you...

;)

That mostly just makes me feel cornered, but I will strongly consider making a video about "6-way alliances." LOL

This is gold. I will definitely have to make sure I do something in this vein if I haven't already, because this is pretty central to how I think about strategy.

I'm very glad to hear it :D

And the "Play the Virgin Queen" concept seems like a very good one. Remaining non-committal while getting others to commit is a difficult art in Diplomacy.

As you've hinted already in another place, a series on strategic options for some of the more popular variant maps would be cool. Ancient Med, WitA, Versailles and even Hundred would be obvious choices for this website.

I love your YouTube videos and admire your dedication to the hobby.

Happy to chat on Zoom soon, if you like?

Great, I am looking forward to it! Your mastery of Versailles is unmatched.

And thank you, regarding the rest of your comment. Is that a new Avatar for you as well, or has it just been a while since I last saw it?

Yep, as I say, yours motivated me to give myself one. But you might recognise the song... ;-)

That's almost a strategic maxim, but Italy loses far too many games for me to trust it.

I love the movie, though!

Thanks to all for the ideas, and I hope this thread will attract many more ideas in the same vein (or creative ideas that break the mold!).
