Diplomacy Puzzle #5 - A Simple Double

(or if you'd like a direct link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_lSvr-wriA )

Been a good while since I last made one of these! And I can't really claim credit for this one, it was made by another user and I found it fascinating enough that I asked if I could make it into a video for the youtube channel. It's got a really interesting answer!

If you want to post a solution here please be sure to spoiler tag it so other people don't get spoiled on the answer if they don't want to be :D
I've now lost so many tournaments I can no longer fit them in my signature.

Here's what I get... holding when a move wouldn't matter.

Edit: that was wrong. Edited to work now...

F-AEG ==> Gre
A-Bul support F-AEG to Gre
A-Smy hold
A-Arm hold
F-Con hold

F-AEG convoy A-Smy to Gre
A-Smy ==> Gre
F-Con support hold F-AEG
A-Arm ==> Smy
A-Bul support A-Smy to Gre
A-Rum ==> Ser
A-Bud==> Tri
A-Vie support A-Bud to Tri
A-Gal hold
A-Sil support hold Ber
A-Ber hold
F-BAL ==> Den
A-Nor hold
A-Nor ==> Edi
F-NOR convoy Nor to Edi
F-NTH oconvoy Nor to Edi
A-Yor support A-Nor to Edi

I think that does it. France can only dislodge one of those fleets.

That takes Greece and Edinburgh guaranteed for 18 centers, and possibly, but unlikely, also takes Budapest. It also guarantees the opponents cannot take of Denmark, Berlin, or Serbia (though if I did not prevent the take of Serbia, I would take Budapest and still make 18)

Post-edit, that's a perfect solution! That's also the one the original puzzle creator had in mind, although I think it's the one that's been found the least so far. Congrats!
