New Video Series: Diplomacy Academy

I've been tossing around the idea of putting together a video series that addresses ways to improve the play of the game, the first edition is up!



Very much interested in feedback/thoughts for improvement &/or topics that could be addressed in future episodes.

Couln't get the link to work, but I found it searching YouTube for Diplomacy Academy. Had to go a little down in the search results. I was amazed at that opening.

To be fair, I think Germany's idea in the fall was, that England would convoy Edinburgh to Norway and let North Sea take Belgium. That's the only explanation I can come up with for this move.

I probably should have addressed that - IF North Sea got into Belgium, then England builds two, and Germany one - he's still in bad shape!

I often notice how desperate Germany wants Burgundy free. But France cannot afford to let Burgundy be occupied by a German army. So France might have to enforce Burgundy - and she can - unless Germany signaled clearly his will to leave Burgundy French.

France has good German friendly options for his 1901 builds, but with a Germany contesting Burgundy she cannot play alike, instead she has to conquer Burgundy herself.

The fight for Burgundy during several turns hinders both of Germany and France to expand elsewhere. To free the German-French border from its double fortification would mean a lot of units could boost the power. Instead, Germany and France find themselves in a small-scale war, cannot grow and eventually are overrun by an uprising alliance from the other board edge.
