1900 03' Builds

Postby Snoopymate25 » 08 Feb 2009, 05:08

Italy (Dunam)
Army Rome
Fleet Naples

France (raytheruler)
Destroy army belgium.
Destroy army Picardy

Turkey (Doctor Beneway)
Build Fleet Damascus

Next Phase: Spring 1904 Orders!
Due: Monday February 9, 10:00 EST/ Tuesday February 10, 3:00 GMT.

After feedback, and some thought, I will not change the map with ray’s altered orders that came after the deadline. I hope that this never happens again, and ask that discussion on this topic ends for the issue is now over.

I'll be gone Wednesday and will come back Friday. But I'll put the game on hold before I leave.

I still really like this map. I like all of the changes, regardless which country I'd play. Only russia and turkey I'm not too sure about. Russia's 4 supply centers to start with seems a little paltry on this map and turkey... I don't know, I guess the turkey involvement in the med is the interesting part that we haven't seen yet.
Saying "You're wrong! There is a god!" is as unhelpful as "You're wrong! There's no god!"

one thing ive noticed: GERMANY IS A REALLY GOOD COUNTRY. He just WONT die.
"It was easy to read the message in his entrails. Man was matter, that was Snowden's secret. Drop him out a window and he'll fall. Set fire to him and he'll burn. Bury him and he'll rot, like other kinds of garbage." -Joseph Heller

Germany is the new Austria here, with all those centers so centralized he can have all his units supporting the couple of weak points and, unless he is attacked from 2 sides significantly his support system is very tough to breach. Classic Hedgehog. Of course 'we' really only attacked him for 2 turns and the attacks were not 2 person attacks and France was supporting him as well.

Not lucky, good strategy on your part recognizing what you needed to do to protect yourself.
