Search for Live Games added

We received a suggestion the other day about being able to look for Live games. This is definitely a good idea, particularly since we want to encourage people to create and play more live games. They are really quite fun, but the problem is getting 7. This search should help.

So now, you will see on the far right hand side of the Join Games and Active Games search that there is a tick box for Live Games Only. This will show you either any joinable Live Games, or existing Live Games respectively.

If anyone sees any problems, let me know.

Hmmm.... glad you added this as its very useful. But... nothing was coming up for me, so I searched just FOW games and found one with surrendered countries -- 28087. Mystery Map... but this doesn't show up if I just click the LIVE box. And if I then add the LIVE box all selections go away. I think its not quite working yet.

Don't forget if you search for Live games, it will only show you Live games. Where you in the Join screen or the Active Games one?

Maybe I don't understand the definition of LIVE games. My thinking is that it is games in progress with surrendered countries that you could join.

So, if that's correct, see if you can find any under FOW only checked. I found this one: 28087. Mystery Map, with Germany available - Joined users -- 6 users

I searched under JOIN GAMES with FOW checked. Then if I also check LIVE games I get only 2 games that haven't started yet -- 28619 and 28620. Note that these have TODAY's date.

(Did you code this by adding a NEW flag? This would mean it would only work from today going forward and perhaps explain things.)

You have misunderstood what a live game is. This means that all players are online at the same time, and moves are submitted/resolved every 15 minutes.(I think. Either way it is a short period)

You may have already joined it. It is obviously showing up on other people's list since

If you are using the Join screen to do the search with Live Games Only checked, AND you have already joined, then the game wont show up because you can't join a game you are already in
