Paint help!

Postby diplomat42 » 24 Jul 2011, 22:01

I really want to GM a game, but I can't because I have no idea how to use paint programs.

I'm on a PC and I have this program called Microsoft Paint. That's the only program I have a shot at using, so don't say "why don't you just download this?"

All would be well...if this could use layers. Can it? If so, how. If anyone uses this, can they help?

You want to download Paint.net for free, there are tutorials on how to use it.

Yeah, I agree with Ironhammer about Paint.net. It's downloadable for free, and there's a pretty detailed instruction item over here:

I use Paint.net myself for GMing and it works very nicely and easily. You will need to have multiple layers in order to moves units without affecting the map. Because ordinary Paint doesn't feature layers, it isn't really usable for adjusting diplomacy maps.

Good luck!

you could also use jDip, like me, which adjudicates and edits the map for you.

Well good job guys in listening to the part where he said he can only use paint. You could do it but you would have to remake the map every single time it changes.

Haha no problem I am sorry but it will be extremely difficult to do with paint.
