Up for a Standard Classicists Game? (FILLED)

Postby britneykay » 30 Dec 2014, 04:46

I'm hoping to join a game after taking a few months off. Personally, I like games where players communicate often, and where the chatbox stays friendly even when the game heats up. This will be my first Classicists game, so I am pretty excited for it!

Map: standard, no variants please
Deadlines: medium length deadlines would be best for me - 3/2/2 or even 2/1/1? Something in that realm?
Rank: either is fine for me, majority rules
Game type: I strongly prefer non-anonymous, but am open to anonymous countries if majority wants it

Let me know your preferences and I can create a game that reflects the choices of the majority!

I'll throw my hat in the ring, assuming it's open to aspirings. I'm back from Christmas vacation.

I'm cool with whatever, anonymous or not, ranked or not. And those deadlines suit me just fine.

You know I'm in. 3 days for orders would be ideal for me, but it's not essential. Rank or norank, makes no real difference to me. Slight preference for ranked.

Although, are you sure that I can't talk you into a nice Age of Empires game, or possibly Versailles? Maybe even a relaxing Fog of War game? ;)

I'm in. I've never played a Classicist game either before so I'm interested to see the difference.

I'll play whichever map, but like BK I prefer the original
It is possible I would go insane if I played a game with 2 day retreat and build deadlines, so I would prefer 2/1/1 or 3/1/1. But if you really want longer to decide whether to build a fleet in North St. Petersburg or South St. Petersburg, then I'll play those deadlines. I've often thought insanity would be an interesting thing to experience.
I prefer rank, but I'll do either.
I also would prefer non-anonymous.
Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse... The climb is all there is. But they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Just what I was looking for, a Classicist game to join. Count me in.

Here are my preferences:

Map: standard, no variants please Standard is what I'm looking for at this time.
Deadlines: medium length deadlines would be best for me - 3/2/2 or even 2/1/1? Something in that realm? I like mcboyes suggestion of a 3/1/1, but I'd be good for a 2/1/1 or a 3/2/2 if it's what the majority wants.
Rank: either is fine for me, majority rules Couldn't care less really.
Game type: I strongly prefer non-anonymous, but am open to anonymous countries if majority wants it Again, couldn't care less really.

First off, welcome back!

Secondly, I am in if you'll have me. I would prefer 3/1/1 at a minimum and ranked, but other than that, I am open to whatever.
