Tempest is more well attended. I can't see this year's and last year was World Dip Championships with 94 attending. 2016 and 2017 had a good number of boards, with 30-40 players.

No, I was at the WDC in Oxford in 2017. Not got the time or money to go to a tournament in the States.

I connected with Andy Harris and actually featured Midcon in the latest issue of the Briefing (https://mailchi.mp/b7bf5e570c3b/acrossthepond). University students at that one? (Oxford U.)

I'll have to do Tempest in a Teapot some year. Looks awesome.

Not that I recall. A fair number of old hands came out of the woodwork, there was a PD contingent, and people from all over the world.
