WDC 2019 Marseille

Hi all,
I was wondering, are any playdippers plan to compete on WDC2019 in Marseille? It has been remarkably quiet about it on this forum..?
Though not experienced in ftf dip, I plan to be there. I've played some games here, but unfortunatly I had to stop myself. I was too much time-invested in the games online (glued to my phone for checking if there are new messages, ). But I still love the game. I'm looking forward to have some fun and finally have the experience to play ftf diplomacy.
Anyway, would be nice to meet any of you. Give a shout-out if you're there.

Also probably some of the European players like BigGun.

Yea, playing online can get super intense and take up lots of time a day for months. I’ve only played a handful of FTF games, but they were fun and you don’t have the drama of spending months building up relationships and then things going south. Feels more like an actual game in person, though I’ve never done tournaments so I’ve never played in person with a scoring/advancement meta.
