I think I will have to attend. Though it's literally been more than a decade (oh, for college years!) since I faced the foes over a real board.

Alright! It's a miniature PlayDip congregation. Can two people be a congregation? It's a gathering anyways!

Four boards for Round 1, @ghostecho and I were E/F - it was ... occasionally challenging but we ended up working things out (I was down to 3 at one point, and ended at 10, he was down to 4, and ended at 6). Austria topped on 14 after Russia started throwing dots to him.

@nanook's board I did not see - report?

8 SC Turkey for me, third on the board behind Siobhan's 9 center England and Rick's 14 center France. Italy (Mary), Austria (Pat), and Germany (I'm blanking his name--it's really late and I'm really tired) all finished with one center apiece.

Not quite accurate - I finished at 5, as one of your 10 was Belgium after you took it from me. ;)

My bad! But I think you both ended up in the top Seven for the event, right? I ended in 10th after sitting the last round to make numbers.

What did y'all think of the event? What can we do to improve, and would you encourage other PD'ers to come out, say, to the North American Championships in November - or any F2F event?
