The Dutch Diplomacy Championship 2017 (Het Nederlands Kampioenschap Diplomacy) will be held this year in Utrecht on the weekend of 30th September / 1st October. Utrecht is a lovely city and just half an hour train ride from Amsterdam, with its excellent international airport and easy connections to pretty much anywhere in the world. The venue for the tournament is Café Averechts:

There will be 3 rounds, starting at 10am and 3pm on the Saturday and 10am on the Sunday, followed by an awards ceremony. Turns are a swift 15 minutes. Each round will end latest in the Fall of 1908. The scoring system used will be Manorcon.

There is an active F-T-F group of hobbyists in the Netherlands with many excellent players, who speak good English. Among them is for example Philipp Weissert, who recently came in 6th place at the WDC in Oxford. Some of you might also remember a Dutch PlayDip player with the username Lukan, who’s been away from the site for a year or more now but still plays F-T-F.
