For 2015 WDC (which as worlds, is more important than DipCon, and thus should be the most prominent), there is also a facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1500292310187264/

Missing events (big)
EDC (EuroDipCon): 17-20 July. Lecister, UK. website: http://manorcon.org.uk/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/652945614799673/

Other events:
San Marino EGP step: May 9-10, San Marino. Contact Luca Pazzaglia (or pm me)

Yorkshire DipCon: June 19-21. website: http://www.ukf2fdip.org/index.php/tob/5 ... ipcon-2015

I expect PoppyCon II in Melbourne, Australia in November to happen as well this year.

WDC is more important than DipCon!?! OK, perhaps an argument can be made, but call me a homer, I put the over/under for North Americans at WDC this year at 6.5. And that is even with the collapsing Euro. Care to take the over? 8-)

EDIT: Good think you didn't take my bet: the under would have won. Only 4 North Americans (all from the USA) made it to WDC. Of course out of 43 attendees, that is not a bad showing.

But seriously, I did say the list came courtesy NADF so it is reasonable their emphasis is on DipCon. And I did make WDC & EDC bold.

(And actually, if I was really a homer, I would have typed ConCon)

No, it is there. Right below DipCon. Thanks for the facebook link.

And thanks for the other three! Let's see if we can keep getting PlayDippers heading out to these events.

I can't believe this. DipCon is coming to the city I live in, to a building I walk by almost daily. But it takes place on the rare weekend when I'm not in town. I'm disappointed.

By the way WHS according to the web-site DipCon is from August 7th-9th not in July.

@glacialice

Change. Your. Plans.

Thanks for the heads up on the date. I suspect all these dates could move around a bit from when that form was created so everyone should really be checking the underlying links. I updated the OP for DipCon.

Is it really all that? (I'm just telling myself this so I'm not as disappointed). Maybe it will be in NYC next year or D.C. I could do that. How far in advance are these things usually scheduled?

It is by far the largest FtF tourney of the year. All the others on the schedule are much smaller gatherings.

Usually the location for DipCon is set in the fall of the previous year.

There's another DipCon in blighty.

Yorkshire DipCon
Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st
http://www.ukf2fdip.org/index.php/tob/5 ... ipcon-2015

I'm not connected with it, just looking for somewhere to play ftf.

There are some coming up in France as well. Are people here interested in knowing about dipcons in other languages?

Peter had listed the Yorkshire Con on the second post, but I went ahead and updated the OP to consolidate the event list since it is too easy to miss I guess.

While this site is dominated by English, we have a fair contingent of other languages represented so if you know of an event that should be on the list, let us know. I am not plugged into anything outside of the US.

Any chance of a similar 2016 post? The game at London Business School this weekend definitely whet my appetite for FtF
