I am in Pacifica, (just south of Daly City) and am willing to host. Sometime in September?

I know there are a ton of diplomacy players up there, I'm sure you will find some on this site.

I wish I could say the same thing about the L.A area. We've got more people than you, but no FTF community that I've ever been able to find. There was a thread about the L.A area, but only a couple of people responded, and I've never found any clubs or anything.
You don't know what I'm thinking...because I don't know what I'm doing.

Santa Rosa here. Ditto on the persuasion part.

I am in Mariposa, by Yosemite, and I can host and drive anywhere. Let me know, I am always down.

To all in the SF Bay area, I would strongly encourage you to join the bayarea diplomacy mailing list: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/bayareadip/
Then, if you post your game announcement there as well as here, you'll become a strong chance to reach the magic 7.

Bonus: by doing so, you may even get Edi Birsan to show up.

A comment. From my experience, vague plans such as Pacifica, September sometime have a tendancy to elicit vague responses which can lead to no ultimatte playtime. Something more precise such as "Game at Pacifica, 1 Sep" or "Game at Pacifica, 1 or 8 Sep, please indicate your preferred date" is more likely to get a positive response.

Off-BART locations are sometimes slightly more difficult than on-BART locations depending on who is playing and who is driving from where and can offer rides.

One day in fine weather I'd like to try to play in Golden Gate Park.

Oh and please crosspost any game formation attempts to the yahoo group bayareadip. We've got many active players who just won't see an announcement here.

Definitely some other time.

I live in Albany. Not able to host, but interested in catching a game sometime around the Bay.

Let's all go to the tourney in Berkeley the first weekend of April and maybe try to set up a game when we see each other then?

I took a break from the site for a while. I'm back now. Hi.
