We've scheduled a ton of ftf games in Chicagoland over the next two months. Take a look and join us for one or more! Just let me know if you want to play, and I'll sign you up.

* Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Red Lion in Lincoln Square.
* Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Village Inn in Skokie.
* Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at my home in Little Italy.
* March 3 at 11 a.m. at Peter Lokken's home in Old Town.
* March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Red Lion in Lincoln Square.
* March 11 at 10 a.m. at Dan Burgess' home in Downers Grove.
* March 18 at 11 a.m. at Tony Prokes' home in Des Plaines.
* March 24 at 11 a.m. at my home in Little Italy.
* March 25 at 11 a.m. at the Concentric gaming convention at the Holiday Inn Itasca. This will be a game of Colonial Diplomacy.

They can't all not work for you, so pick one or more, and come on out!

I'm in for the upcoming game in Skokie. I can't wait to play my first FtF game in years. I've already rigged the site with cameras and microphones and my buddy will be in the windowless van outside feeding me intel.
I'll have to sign up with your group and become an active member (if I survive my first game with you guys).
Thanks for the invite!

Since I joined the Weasels, I've been to two games and had an outstanding time... I actually scored some points, I think. Still learning how the pub game scoring works.

If you live in the area, I highly recommend checking them out.

Thanks to everyone in the Weasels for a warm welcoming and keeping Diplomacy alive and well in Chicago.
Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room.

I enjoyed my first weasel game and look forward to playing again. I learned a lot of lessons that night (at least 3 solid ones anyways). Playing FtF and with a finite amount of time really changes things and I think mainly for the better.

Okay, Chicago-Area Play Dippers, we could use some help filling these games:

* March 18 at 11 a.m. at Tony Prokes' home in Des Plaines. (Two spots left.)
* March 24 at 11 a.m. at my place in Little Italy. (One spot left.)

Also, our sixth annual CODCon Open Diplomacy tournament is April 21-22 at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn. You can find more info at http://www.windycityweasels.org/codcon6. It's a three-round tournament, with two rounds on Saturday and one on Sunday. It only takes one round to qualify for awards. We'll be giving out awards for first through third place and the Best Countries.

Historically, we've had two to three boards per round at CODCon. It's smaller than Weasel Moot, but it's a lot of fun and a great, low-stress introduction to tournament Diplomacy. Plus, the other attendees at the gaming convention make for outstanding people watching.

If you have questions, check out the link or PM me.
