Backstabbing doesn't have to always be real, does it? Are there six more who would rather play diplomacy, the game?

DC resident down to play face to face. Have you found any face to face events/groups/whatever in the DC area?

I'm in the District, and could be up for a weekend game. I could also probably bring a friend or two that are interested in playing. They're pretty new to Dip - still figuring out the intricacies of support rules and such - but as a last ditch to fill in 7 they're available, and they should be getting better as time goes on.

Just had an idea, actually. If anyone has a board, we could just go to Dupont one day and play there. I'm sure some of the guys that sit out there and play chess will either know how to play or be quick studies at learning.

I am a DC resident and am willing to throw my hat into the ring if anyone is trying to put together a game. I know of another guy who is in my neighborhood and is interested as well.

I'm in Silver Spring and am always down to play. I have two friends who would probably be interested as well. If you ever need someone or want to organize a game, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]

I know this thread is old as sin, but I have a group of seven in Washington who play pretty frequently.

If you guys are interested, there is an active club in the DC metro area called the Potomac Tea and Knife Society. They host an annual tournament called Tempest in a Teapot (Sept 30 - Oct 2 this year) and we are trying to get together more house games. You can check out www.ptks.org for more info or contact me and I'll let you know about a game.
